Creating Space

The practice of midlife well-being

Six months. A small circle of women. The support and practice to make choices guided by your well-being.

January 26 –June 22, 2027

Creating Space is a six-month small-group coaching program for women navigating midlife who are ready for their well-being to have a greater role in how they live.

Because midlife changes the terrain.

Your body changes. Your energy changes. Roles and relationships shift. The way you've always done things may no longer work as well as it once did.

And you may be thinking differently about the years ahead.

Creating Space gives you the time, coaching, community, and practices to understand what supports your well-being now—and begin making choices guided by that knowledge.

Not a new life. A different way of navigating the one you're living.

Creating Space begins January 2027.

Is Creating Space for you?

What if midlife became less of a crisis and more of a chrysalis?

You may have a full life you value—and still want greater well-being. More room to breathe in your body. In your life.

Maybe your well-being keeps landing behind everything and everyone else.

Maybe you know what supports you, but struggle to make room for it consistently.

Maybe your body, energy, responsibilities, or priorities have changed and you're realizing some of your old ways of living need to change with them.

Or maybe you simply don't want to move through the next decade on autopilot.

You want your well-being to become part of how you decide what stays, what changes, what gets your time, and what comes next.

That's the work of Creating Space.

This is not another wellness plan to consider—or another “should” to add to an already full life.

You already know that sleep, movement, nourishing food, relationships, rest, and stress matter.

Knowing isn't always the hard part.

Living from what you know is.

Creating Space closes some of that distance.

For six months, you have a place to step out of the momentum of everyday life, pay attention to what is happening within you and around you, and try different ways of responding.

You notice.

You make a choice.

You try it in your actual life.

You discover what happens.

And you bring that experience back into the circle.

Over time, you begin building something no wellness checklist can give you:

your own lived understanding of what supports your well-being—and greater trust in your ability to choose from it.

You arrive with...

  • A life already in progress.

  • A body, energy, roles, and priorities that are changing.

  • Responsibilities and relationships that are shifting—and things that support you that you still struggle to make room for.

  • A desire to feel steadier within yourself. To reset, breathe, and give your own well-being greater attention.

  • Patterns and expectations you may be ready to question.

  • A growing awareness of the years ahead—and dreams, ideas, experiences, or parts of yourself that still feel unlived.

Six months later...

You'll know more clearly what nourishes you and what depletes you.

You'll recognize your own signals sooner.

You'll have practiced making choices that contribute to your well-being rather than continually working against it.

You'll have experimented with changes in your real life—perhaps around time, boundaries, rest, movement, relationships, commitments, creativity, work, or the way you care for yourself.

You'll know which practices and rhythms actually work for you because you've lived them, not simply learned about them.

And you'll have greater trust in your ability to listen to yourself, make a choice, and adjust your course when you need to.

Your well-being becomes something you know how to navigate by.

And because you've practiced living from that place, you can move forward feeling steadier within yourself, more rested and resourced, and more confident that the choices you make can support both your well-being and what you want to move toward.

How Creating Space works

Each month we explore a different territory of midlife well-being through two landscapes:

Your Inner Landscape

  • body and energy

  • nervous system and emotions

  • needs and desires

  • values and inner knowing

Your Outer Landscape

  • time and everyday rhythms

  • relationships and responsibilities

  • work, commitments, and environment

  • the choices shaping how you live

We explore where these landscapes support your well-being—and where they may be working against it.

But Creating Space isn't primarily about learning.

It's about practice.

Each month follows the same simple rhythm:

EXPLORE

Our first Creating Space Coaching Circle each month opens the month's territory through coaching, reflection, conversation, embodied practice, and small-group sharing.

You'll learn through your own experience and through the perspectives and experiences of other women in the circle.

You identify something that deserves your attention and clarify what you want to explore in the weeks ahead.

EXPERIENCE

Then you take it into your life.

You might change a boundary. Protect your time. Return to a practice. Try a different rhythm. Have a conversation. Listen to your body. Say yes. Say no.

Small choices become experiments.

A simple structured guide, reflection prompts, optional monthly yoga, and additional workshops support you as you put what surfaced in the Coaching Circle into practice.

INTEGRATE

In our second Creating Space Coaching Circle each month, we come back to what happened.

What worked? What didn't? What did you notice? What did the experience teach you?

Through coaching, reflection, and sharing in small groups, you learn from both your own experience and the experiences of the women around you.

You integrate what you learned and decide what to carry forward.

Explore. Experience. Integrate.

Then we begin again.

The six-month journey

We begin by taking your bearings: Where are you now? What has changed? What is asking for your attention?

From there, we explore your Inner Landscape—the signals, needs, patterns, desires, and wisdom within you—and your Outer Landscape: the way your time, relationships, responsibilities, environment, and everyday rhythms affect your well-being.

As the months unfold, the emphasis shifts from noticing to choosing and practicing.

What do you want to cultivate?

What might need to change?

What happens when your well-being becomes part of the decision?

By our final months together, you aren't simply thinking about these questions.

You've been living them.

You leave Creating Space with practices and choices you've tested in your own life, a clearer understanding of what supports you now, and an inner compass strengthened through use.

And you'll leave with something that is entirely your own: a personal guide to your well-being, built from six months of your reflections, discoveries, practices, choices, and lived experience.

You'll know what supports you, what steadies and restores you, what deserves your attention, and how to recognize when something is pulling you away from yourself.

You'll have experienced what it means to be seen, heard, supported, and witnessed by other women as you make meaningful changes in your life.

Most importantly, you'll be ready to move into your next chapter with greater clarity, direction, and confidence—making choices guided by your well-being and bringing what you've learned with you.

Your Creating Space group space
One organized place for program materials, practices, links, resources, Circle information, and recordings throughout our six months together.

Recordings
When life means you can't attend a Circle live, you'll have access to the recording.

And throughout the six months, you'll be part of a small cohort of women doing their own work alongside you.

Why a small circle?

Because there are things we learn about ourselves through other women that are difficult to discover alone.

Someone asks the question you hadn't thought to ask.

Someone makes a choice you didn't realize was available.

Someone names an experience you thought was yours alone.

Creating Space brings together women whose lives may look very different but who share the experience of navigating midlife and reconsidering what supports them now.

Your work remains your own. But you don't have to do it alone.

Why six months?

Because insight can happen in an afternoon.

Integration takes longer.

Creating Space gives you time to try something, live with it, discover what works, encounter what gets in the way, adjust, and try again.

That space between our Circles matters as much as the Circles themselves.

Your life isn't competing with the program.

Your life is where you practice it.

Why I created Creating Space

For two decades, I've coached women around health, well-being, change, and the lives they're navigating.

My approach has also been shaped by years of yogic practice and by my early work in wilderness and experiential education.

Those experiences taught me something I continue to believe:

What we discover about ourselves and our lives in a protected space matters most when we can carry it back into our everyday lives.

In wilderness programs, the terrain created the experience.

In yoga, what happens on the mat becomes practice for life off the mat.

In Creating Space, your life is the terrain.

My role isn't to give you a formula for midlife or tell you what well-being should look like.

I bring the structure, coaching, questions, practices, and experience.

You bring your life.

Together, we create enough space for you to hear yourself more clearly, experiment with what you discover, and practice making choices that support the woman you are now.
